Why don't you try actually reading one?
GODS is in low low low level 👎👎👎 ... House of Ideas ?? Were are you ? 🔎🔎🔎
Gods was decent. Probably would of worked better at DC as a New gods book
Only thing I did not like from Hickman was Shield
meh, I don't trust Marvel to not fuck it up, I don't think he has done something good at Marvel since Secret Wars
No thanks. Hickman’s writing is best left to writing original sci-fi/fantasy novels. His style isn’t suited for comics. House/Powers of X gave me migraines and I really don’t know what the hell I read.
I think you've hit the nail on the head for me. He does have talent, but it's better suited to other medium. He tried to turn X-men into a crazy world building sci-fi, and is now turning Spiderman into some indy movie mumblecore.
I've yet to see him write good superhero action.
Then perhaps it is too big-brained stuff for your mind to comprehend
yeah, my small brain can't handle all the amazing ideas he brought to X-men. Like watching a girl get killed in an arena, and dresses and treehouses and Logan/Scott/Jean sharing a door!!! Give me a break.
@gavsmi6452 the dresses part was by Duggan and Tini Howard, NOT Hickman! As for the "Jean/Scott/Logan" throuple part, I'm not sure what Hickman was going to do with that as he departed the X-books before he can explain THAT one.
@@MatthewLoh-ru1mw seems like he left before explaining a lot of things. I guess we'll never know.
Im done with hickman, easily the most overrated writer in comics.
Honestly don’t care. Hickman doesn’t do well on miniseries so if this isn’t going to be a ongoing series then I’m not interested
Wrong. He does well on miniseries. Look at his works over in Image comics and they are all great and are miniseries
@ not the marvel ones.
So over hyped and overrated.
Let's see if marvel sabotages it again like the last few projects he's had before Ultimate Universe stuff. They screwed the X-Men stuff up, Gods wasn't great but they canned it while letting other books go on by garbage writers. I have zero faith in this
EXACTLY! Him being taken off the Krakoa shit's not his fault but they keep doing it! Everything's going well then when they feel enough people's committed they took him & his team off & replaced them with their agenda team & it was over!
@ensabahnur7657 the fact they kept giving Tini Howard and writers like Ayala more books despite them tanking everything said it all.
so, who's going to be gay in this one?
You
@cicolasnage5684 lol. evidence? simple question.
@@cheeseburgersuperior1874 because you like it in the dirty hole.
@@MidnightLight. it's marvel not him.
No one!
hate that he makes everything scifi :/ plus the diagrams are horrible...
Uh, hello? That was in the Krakoa X-men books. He doesn't do any of that anymore
@@MatthewLoh-ru1mw i hope so I bought decorum hardcover and 1/4 probably are worthless graphic design.
Also made Xmen like the Inhumans :/ not a fan, sareh. But Im just not into that stuff, cool if you are.
I love Hickman but he is an acquired taste and not for anyone. The most sinilar writer to him would be Morrison.
That's a grave insult to Grant Morrison. Pre 2000 Morrison was all time great tier. Peak Hickman and 2015 Morrison (after he jumped the shark) is a more fair comparison. Current Hickman and current Morrison - both bad and overly convoluted.
@jbbrolic I agree with you but my comparison was on the writing style.
